Amanda Nasser is born and raised in San Diego, California. Currently practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the emergency department at UC San Diego University Health System.
She earned her master's degree from UC Irvine and a bachelor's degree in nursing with distinction from San Diego State University.
Outside of work, Nasser enjoys volunteering in the local and international community; currently serving her second consecutive role as secretary for the house of Palestine.
Prior to that served as the secretary from 2009 through 2012. She also served as the
Queen from 2007 to 2008 and participated in the Zaytouna Dabkeh group for several years.
Recently Amanda completed a medical humanitarian mission in Lesvos, Greece, and plans to return in the near future.
Other than volunteering, she enjoys several outdoor activities such as hiking, scuba
diving, and Pilates.
