House of Palestine participates in events organized by House of Pacific Relations. Here is a list of this year's events: Sunday, March 27 Sunday, August 14 Sunday, September 25 Sunday, January 22, 2012 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Hostings of Hall of Nations This is held at the Hall of Nations in Balboa Park. House of Palestine displays its cultural and educational items. Sunday, May 29 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Ethnic Food Fair Along with other international houses, House of Palestine serves its ethnic food (falafel, chicken shawerma, hummos, zalabia, etc.) And its Zaytouna Dabkeh Group performs on stage. Sunday, August 14 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Lawn Program House of Palestine holds its lawn program outdoors in the House of Pacific Relations area in Balboa Park. The program features music, dabkeh, arts, crafts, and ethnic food. Friday, December 2 4:00 - 10:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3 12:00 - 10:00 p.m. Balboa Park December Nights This is the big event in which over 150,000 people participate. Along with other international houses, House of Palestine serves its ethnic food and participates in the entertainment and festivities.
